As BluFi Lending CEO, I am very proud to announce that BluFi Cares, our charitable outreach program, has already had its first big success in 2012 benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Between employee donations and the company match, BluFi Lending raised $3,000 in support of the Project’s mission to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
BluFi Lending employees purchased 1,468 raffle tickets at $1 each to raise money in support of the project, and the company has matched that amount and rounded up to an even $3,000. This money goes to help the men and women in the Armed Forces who bravely fought for our freedom and incurred service-connected wounds, injuries, or illnesses. The Wounded Warrior Project is a cause with such an honorable mission, and this donation is another example of the generosity of spirit that is alive and well at BluFi Lending. To all BluFi employees who helped us reach this achievement: great job and thank you so much for your efforts.
We created our BluFi Cares program because we feel helping our community is part of being a responsible business. Just like our commitment to go the extra mile for our customers to deliver transparent responsible lending, we go the extra mile for our community by supporting organizations like Wounded Warrior Project.
